Whats up guys? Shiningbind here with the latest news here on Time Ends Radio. If you have not checked us out on the following social media, please be sure to check us out and give us a follow and a like. So this latest news talks about one of the main things that brings us all together, and that is the concert industry. Unfortunately, because of the coronavirus pandemic, live concerts have taken a huge blow since we all have to social distance and wear masks. Some of the concerts like the Motley Crue Stadium Tour have been postponed to later in 2021 while many others had to cancel due to the pandemic.
Originally, according to Consequence of Sound, the industry insiders have predicted a record-breaking year at the box office with an estimated 12.2 billion dollars. Unfortunately, that was before the Coronavirus had hit. When live performances had shut down back in March, the result added up to a loss of 9.7 billion dollars, and that is not counting the loss in sponsorships, merch, concessions, travel, as well as hotel and restaurants which resulted in a loss of over 30 billion dollars total.
However, for us music lovers out there, we hope live concerts will come back eventually. ABC 10 news stated that there is indeed a coronavirus vaccine coming soon to the US, so there is hope. Anyways, that’s all the news for now, until then stay creative, stay home, and be careful! Peace out!
