So this latest news is unfortunately very depressing as a Rising Techno producer, I_o has passed at age 30. However, there is still no release yet of the cause of death.
According to Billboard, the rising techno producer was working on collaborating with a range of other artists that includes Grimes to work on the song, Violence, from her 2020 LP. I_o, also known as Garrett Falls Lockhart, was scheduled to play at festivals in 2021 including Electric Zoo and Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. Lockhart was also supported by the industry heavyweights that included Armin Van Buuren and Eric Prydz. They had played his music and also selected him to open up shows. It’s a devastating day as Lockhart had brought so much joy, especially in the Los Angeles community through music and contributed so much, especially to dance music.
You will forever be missed always.
