Anywho, this latest news is a great way that kicked off the year 2021, new music where The Foo Fighters are releasing a album which was delayed back in 2020 due to the pandemic, which will now be released next month on February 5th, “Medicine at Midnight”. This will be their 10th studio album release. According to Rollingstone, The Foo Fighters had kicked off the new year with their new single release, “No Son of Mine”.
While their song “Shame Shame” had a more funk feel to it, “No Son of Mine” has more high-energy rock style returning.
David Grohl stated this to Kerrang!: “As time went by we just decided, ‘Well, more than anything we want people to hear the new record. We can’t go out and play shows right now, but the music is worth hearing,’”
The album is inspired by David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” sound wise as Grohl added in as he stated also that “It’s not like a EDM, Disco, or a modern day record where it’s a really up and fun record.”
Anyways, that’s all the news I have for now, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled when the album, “Medicine at Midnight” hits stores near you on February 5th. Until then, stay tuned, stay calm, and stay awesome. Peace out!
