Anywho, this latest news has been making headlines where musician, Bruce Springsteen, has been arrested for a DWI at a national park in Sandy Hook, New Jersey.
According to CNN, he was charged with DWI, reckless driving, and consuming alcohol in a closed area. Moreover, Jeep debuted an ad commercial that starred Springsteen as a message that calls for national unity. However, due to his arrest, the spokesperson of Jeep explained that the company will pause the spot. Since his arrest, the commercial was pulled from Jeep’s YouTube channel.
BBC stated this from the spokesperson of Jeep,
"It would be inappropriate for us to comment on the details of a matter we have only read about and we cannot substantiate,"
and then added in,
“But it's also right that we pause our big game commercial until the actual facts can be established. Its message of community and unity is as relevant as ever. As is the message that drinking and driving can never be condoned."
