10/27/2020

What’s up guys? Shiningbind is back here in action with some latest stories on music here on Time Ends Radio. Today’s story I figure I share with you from a friend I know as he finally got his band kicking off the ground. Yes, we’re talking about the next upcoming hard rock/heavy metal band, Skarlett Roxx.

Based in North Liberty, Iowa, Skarlett Roxx are currently in progress of fully developing their bandas they are writing some original music and lyrics. The members consist of Jaxx Claudin, Kaiden Smith, Ash Harvey, and Deuce. Already establishing a small fan base based off of Jaxx’s profile and connections, it won’t be long until these guys are the next big thing. According to the Skarlett Roxx Facebook page and Instagram, they have a live gig coming up on October 16th from 9:30 pm -1:30 am at J & A Tap in North Liberty,in the area, be sure to check them out and spread the word!

Jaxx stated in a Snapchat conversation that he had with me that he wants to move to California, specifically Los Angeles where the first wave of Glam Metal trend rose back in the early 1980s until it became mainstream while heavy metal, on the other hand, was more mainstream already. Aside from the glam metal genre declining in the late 80s, heavy metal was still going strong and branching out.

Before I wrap it up here, be sure to give Skarlett Roxx a follow on Facebook and Instagram and spread the word and support their upcoming gigs. Moreover, if you’re in the Iowa area, be sure to check them out live at J & A Tap. Hoping they do a tour someday and play some shows here in California. Anyways, keep on rocking, boys! Until then, keep on rocking out, support your local bands and peace out!

San Diego Facebook page about a band known as Future Islands releasing their
sixth studio album -- As Long as You Are.

The album recently came out on October 9th along with a live stream show that
happened in their hometown of Baltimore. However, you can still grab tickets for
$15.00 via Live Nation to a rebroadcast show, but better be quick because the

Moreover Rollingstone stated that Future Islands had done a teaser for the LP by
releasing a single called “Thrill” with a stark, one-take video shot in quarantine.
In addition to their studio release, the Baltimore band had also added a fourth
member which is drummer Mike Lowry, especially when Future Islands had a
three piece line up consisting of Herring, William Cashion, and Gerrit Welmers.
The band formed in 2006, and they are an American synthpop band.

Anyways, that’s all for now, so be sure to check out the band at

Save Starlight comes together topreserve The Starlight Bowl

What’s up guys, Shiningbind here with more of your latest news here on Time
Ends Radio! This segment is something special and close to home as we all heard
the stories about Balboa Park getting a makeover including coming together to
preserve a historic amphitheater known as The Starlight Bowl.

Constructed in 1935, this 3,600 seat amphitheater was originally commissioned
by the Ford Motor Company for the 1935 California Pacific-Exposiiton. As the
years passed, the venue evolved and became a precious gem in San Diego, and it
was known for musical performances such as Carlos Santana, Jerry Garcia, Bob
Dylan, and The Rolling Stones. Unfortunately, around 2011 was when the venue
filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Since then, the venue has been sitting there,
abandoned for almost 10 years. Sadly in 2019, it was when the venue was broken
into. However, hope lit up when a non-profit organization known as Save
Starlight developed back in 2016. Fighting to keep the Starlight Bowl alive and
revive it, volunteers and the community came together to help preserve a
precious gem in hope to create a new and adataple platform for future
generations, events. and so forth. Hoping that goal will be reached soon.

Anyways, that’s all the news for today, until then let’s save our venues, save our
events, and stay safe and sane also. Health is important. Peace out, folks!

Get the Car Ready: Concerts are comingBack

10/8/2020

What’s up all, Shiningbind here back in action with more stories on Time Ends Radio. Today, we’re here with some more stories for you all about the #SaveLiveEventsNow coalition. As we all know according to what Rollingstone had stated, live music events have been getting zero revenue due to the Coronavirus pandemic. However, despite the music industry taking a huge hit, some restrictions in California are starting to ease up according to ABC 30 news.

With restrictions easing, CBF productions came up with a creative way to come up for concerts to happen in San Diego where of course we all have to social distance. The creative way to enjoy a good live concert is in your car. Yup, drive-in concerts are becoming a thing, so we can stay safe in our cars and social distance. However, not just drive-in concerts, but drive-in movies are coming back also. If you want to check out some upcoming shows at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, it’s $99 per car and some upcoming shows are coming this weekend of October such as Third Eye Blind and Tower of Power. If you want to chill in your car to see a movie at the fairgrounds, tickets are $29 per car, and because it's a spooky month, movies such as The Blair Witch Project and Hotel Transylvania are showing.

And if you still want to support the #SaveLiveEventsNow coalition, be sure to check out saveliveeventsnow.com or Text LIVE EVENTS to 40649. Until then, hang in there, stay strong and listen to some good tunes. Stay tuned for next time, Peace Out!

A Lost bond: The Van Halen Tribute

10/6/2020

What’s up all? Shiningbind here with the first blog post with Time Ends Productions. If you all
have not checked out Time Ends, I suggest you do now and get the word out by giving a follow, a
like, and share! Anyways, this past Tuesday has been crushing to us all in the world of music as
we all learned of Eddie Van Halen passing away from cancer. It was not only a huge blow to the
well known musicians, but a huge blow in the family, especially his son, Wolfgang Van Halen.

Van Halen took it to Twitter and Instagram along with a pic of his father by quoting;

“I can’t believe I’m having to write this, but my father, Edward Lodewijk Van Halen, has lost
his long and arduous battle with cancer this morning.

He was the best father I could ever ask for. Every moment I’ve shared with him on and of
stage was a gift.

My heart is broken and I don’t think I’ll ever fully recover from this loss.
I love you so much, Pop.”

We offer our deepest condolences to you, Van Halen, as well as to friends and family.

Wolfgang Van Halen was born on March 6th, 1991, and is the bassist for Van Halen after
replacing Michael Anthony in 2006. With that said, he became the youngest member of Van
Halen at only 29 years old. According to an unknown source, he discovered that his father,
Eddie Van Halen, was a famous musician until he “picked up the CDs that had his father’s
picture on them.” When Van Halen started playing, he started on drums until his father asked
him if he wanted to play with him, resulting in him switching to bass. Van Halen’s inspirations
when he began to play bass were Les Claypool of Primus and Justin Chancellor of Tool.
However, his biggest inspiration would have to be his father, Eddie Van Halen.

Like Eddie Van Halen, his guitars are also custom built and are based off of Eddie Van Halen’s
well-known Frakenstrat. Moreover, in February of 2015 is when Wolfgang began to work on a
solo album. However, according to an article in Rollingstone, Van Halen still has yet to release a
single song from his solo album. Despite that being up in the air, there’s always that light of
hope that it will be released, especially when Van Halen is following his father’s footsteps.
No matter what, we will never forget a true icon and legend, Eddie Van Halen as he left behind a
true legacy. That’s all for now, folks, until next time, stay tuned.

10/1/2020

What’s up guys? Shiningbind back here with the latest scoop here only on Time
Ends Productions. This episode is focused on one of the biggest music festivals in
the world -- The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Now I am sure you all
are wondering what is going to happen to the future of Coachella because of the
pandemic. Well, we finally have an answer.

So we all know about the second time Coachella had postponed to April of 2021
after the fall of 2020 had fallen through due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Unfortunately, the news came in about it being pushed back, yet again to October
of 2021. This is the third time Coachella had to postpone their event. According to
MSN about the event, they stated that all pass holders will be contacted about
requesting a refund or to rollover to next year. Also, the festivals will be
announcing the new line ups for future dates. The festival, originally dated for
early 2020, would have celebrated its 21st year with headliners like Rage Against
the Machine, Travis Scott, and Frank Ocean. Uproxx stated that,

“It wouldn’t be a surprise if Coachella was pushed back to 2022 thanks to the
possible scheduling conflicts with artists and lack of a Coronavirus vaccine.”

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival is an annual held at the Empire Polo
Club in Indio, CA. It was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in
1999. Moreover, it’s organized by an organization known as Golden voice. It is
one of the largest and most profitable events in the United States and the world.

Anyways guys, that’s all the news I am reporting until then, stay home, stay safe,
wear a mask, and wash your hands. Stay tuned until then!
