According to Billboard.com, the sibling trio had made an announcement on social media about their upcoming memoir that will be released in the fall on November 9th, 2021, so be sure to mark those calendars, folks on kindle and hardcover via Amazon. The group had shared a few moments from the book which include memories of their first performances as MTV’s Total Request Live which then followed the 2006 release of “Mandy”.  Moreover, there is Joe’s perspective on the meeting that halted their career as a trio for nearly six years.

Vince Neil Steps off Stage during Festival

According to CNN, Neil’s solo band had headlined at the Boone River Valley Festival where he performed many Mötley Crue classics. Unfortunately, many fans were not impressed as there was some beefing about Neil forgetting the lyrics as well as his voice not being in the best shape.  While 14 songs in, Neil began to perform “Girls Girls Girls”, but that was when his voice gave out.  Neil had apologized to the crowd stating that “It’s been a long time playing.” He added that his voice is “gone” before saying his last words and then leaves the stage in the middle of the song. 

Leaving fans unhappy, it wasn’t long until it was taken to social media.  Anyways, that’s all the news for now.  Until then, practice makes perfect.  Peace out!

Spotify Launches New Feature

According to nme.com, the feature was launched back on June 2nd, and it was described by Spotify as being “all about creating how you listen.”  It creates six new lists which show your music organized according to a number of new categories.  Spotify stated this statement:

“Your Moon sign demonstrates an artist you listen to that best shows your emotional or vulnerable side. Your Rising sign brings it all together with an artist you’ve recently connected with.”

A further separate feature, also launched by Spotify was the “Blend” feature that allows two friends to merge their music into one playlist that both friends can listen to.  Anyways, that’s all the news for now.  Until then, kick back, relax, and listen to some tunes. Peace out!

Guns N’ Roses Announce Rescheduled Tour With 14 New Dates

Anyways, this latest news goes out to all you Guns N Roses fans out there as Guns N Roses had announced their rescheduled tour with new dates on their list. 

According to Kerrang, GNR will be joined by Mammoth WVH to kick off their huge Arena and Stadium tour in North America this summer. With things slowly going back to normal from the pandemic, Tickets have gone on sale on June 4th, so if you haven’t yet, be sure to purchase your ticket today. They will be playing at a whopping 25 arenas and stadiums from June to October, so be there and don’t miss out!

Sirius XM partners with TikTok on New Music Channel

According to TechCrunch.com, the satellite radio company has announced about the partnership with the social video platform to power several new initiatives, including a TikTok channel on Sirius XM, hosted TikTok playlists on Pandora and re-airings of Pandora live events on TikTok. In addition, the hosted playlists on Pandora are the first of the new initiatives to launch. 

Popular TikTok creators will have the opportunity to curate, host, and promote their own Pandora playlists to their fans on TikTok.   Anyways, that’s all the news for now, so always remember to smile, let go, and be happy.  Peace out!

Slipknot, Faith No More, and Megadeth Set for Knotfest

This latest news is for all you Slipknot Fans out there as Slipknot is set to headline Knotfest in their home state of Iowa along with bands like Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb of God, Gojira, and many more. 

According to Loudwire.com, Knotfest is set to kick off on September 25th at the National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, Iowa, which is located only 14 miles from Des Moines, so be sure to grab those tickets before they sell out. In addition to the announcement of Knotfest, Slipknot have also officially confirmed that they returned to the studio to work on their successor to 2019’s “We are Not Your Kind” as the band has been vocal about their work during the pandemic. Machine Gun Kelly Crowned Top Rock Artist At 2021 Billboard Music Awards

According to Music Mayhem Magazine, MGK was also nominated for top rock song with Blackbear for their collaborative single, “My Ex’s Best Friend”, but AJR won that title for their single, “BANG”.  MGK quotes: 

“I released my first mixtape 15 years ago, and the first big stage I’ve ever been invited to accept an award on.”

New L.A. Rats Supergroup forming

Rats. 

According to UltimateClassicRock.com, the trio came together along with drummer Tommy Clufetos to release a new single. Sixx hinted on his Instagram along with John 5 and Rob Zombie that the release was on May 21st. Moreover, the overall quartet have created a cover song of Geoff Mack’s 1959 hit, “I’ve been Everywhere” for the upcoming Netflix movie starring Liam Neeson called “The Ice Road”.

Motley Crue Stadium Tour Postponed again

This latest news is quite devastating to many Mötley Crue fans as Mötley Crue has postponed their stadium tour a second time until 2022 due to the Covid pandemic. 

According to Billboard, Mötley Crue was originally supposed to tour back in 2020 with Def Leppard along with Poison and Joan Jett. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, The mega tour was pushed back a second time. Mötley Crue had stated this statement on their social media accounts:

"To all our loyal fans, we wanted to let you know that we learned today that the tour is getting moved to 2022.  This is the only way to ensure that we can play ALL of the dates for ALL of you who have purchased tickets. We appreciate you hanging in there and can’t wait to get back on stage and bring The Stadium Tour to all of our fans. It is going to be one for the history books!"
